Fiscal Impact:
There is a minimal fiscal impact to the City associated with the recommended action for sidewalk vending. Pending City Council adoption Ordinance No. 2024-07-1550, an impound fee and appeal fee will be established by separate resolution to address the cost of storing impounded items and processing appeals to impoundment actions. The recommended amount of the proposed fees are currently being studied by City staff.
