The newly elected members of the City Council and the City Clerk will be sworn into office.

Have the newly elected officers sworn in as members of the City Council and City Clerk

There is no fiscal impact associated with the recommended action.
Background and Analysis:
Article 20, Section 3 of the California Constitution requires that before entering upon the duties of their respective offices, all public officers shall take and subscribe to an oath of offices.
Assistant City Clerk will swear-in newly elected Council Members and City Clerk.
