Summary:
The Contract Amendment Register is a listing of proposed contract amendments and project change orders eligible for streamlined processing based upon the following criteria, as documented in the City’s Purchasing Policy:
• The City Council authorized funds for the adopted fiscal year Operating Budget.
• Staff are satisfied with the goods/services received to date.
• The City Manager reviewed and approved each amendment for streamlined processing.
The contract amendment for City Council consideration is as follows:
City of Long Beach: Second Amendment to Agreement No. 36774 extending the term through June 30, 2028, and increasing the contract amount by $56,745 per year, for a new not-to-exceed amount of $216,242.00 per year (Attachment A). This adjustment is needed to continue supporting animal care and shelter services for residents without interruption in service.

Fiscal Impact:
Funding for the proposed agreement has been included in the draft FY 2026-2028 Operational Budget presented to the City Council during the Budget Workshop, and in the proposed FY 2026-2028 Operational Budget presented to the City Council for Adoption.
