Background & Analysis:
The City will recruit community volunteers and coordinate with members of LAHSA to staff the event. The event will need approximately eight to twelve volunteers to carry out the count. As in previous years, staff is requesting Planning Commissioners serve as standby volunteers to supplement the communitywide volunteer round-up. Staff will update the Commission in January regarding volunteer needs. As of this evening’s presentation, approximately seven volunteers have registered to assist with the count.
