Background and Analysis:
1) At the September 24, 2024, City Council meeting:
• Mayor Woods presented a proclamation to outgoing Planning Commissioner Chris Wilson.
• Police Chief Byerly introduced and swore in Jonathon Pena, a new Police Officer.
2) At the October 8, 2024, City Council meeting:
• Parks, Rec & Library Services introduced Senior Rec Specialist Brianna Quintanilla.
• City Council interviewed candidates for Planning Commission and appointed Georgia Lopez to serve the remainder of Commissioner Wilson’s term, through May 31, 2025.
• City Council authorized the City Manager to sign a one-year agreement with Bludot Technologies, to implement a Shop Local campaign.
