A. GENERAL PLAN ELEMENTS - UPDATE: Staff has finalized their review of the first draft of the Environmental Resources Element. Comments were provided to the City’s General Plan Element consultant, MIG. A draft of the Environmental Justice Element has been provided to staff and is under review.
B. BULKY ITEM PICK-UP: The Fall bulky item pick-up week is scheduled for October 7 through October 11, 2024. Single-family residences should set out bulky items at the curb for collection on their regularly scheduled collection day. Residents in multi-family complexes should call EDCO to arrange for a special free pick-up prior to the scheduled free pick-up week.
C. SUSTAINABILITY AWARD PROGRAM: Staff would like to check in with the SCC committee on any potential nominations of comprehensive sustainable practices, operations, energy efficient renovations, or large commercial solar installations.
